Report on Tobacco Awareness Seminar
The Safe Club of Church School Beldih organized a seminar on National Tobacco Control and Nasha Mukt Vidyalaya on 6th August 2026, in accordance with the notice issued by the Government of Jharkhand and the Council to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of tobacco.
Mr. Kundan Kumar and Ms. Mausumi Chatterjee, representatives of the National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP), addressed the students and sensitized them about the harmful effects of tobacco and the importance of maintaining a healthy, tobacco-free lifestyle. An interactive quiz was also conducted, followed by the distribution of gifts to the students.
During the programme, the badge ceremony for the Safe Club for the session 2026–27 was also conducted.
The programme was attended by the Principal, Vice-Principal, Coordinators, SMC members, Safe Club Moderator, Safe Club members and participating students. The seminar was informative and successful in promoting awareness about the importance of a tobacco-free school and society.
